How to read this COA: The numbers above are from SGS-tested samples. Each shipment receives its own batch-specific COA. SiO₂ values may vary by test method and laboratory — always check the method stated on the COA. See our COA reading guide for details.
Na₂O — the hidden number: Most fused silica COAs do not list sodium. But Na₂O catalyses the transformation of amorphous silica to cristobalite. The scientific threshold is ~2,200 ppm. Chemsize Grade A measures 24-27 ppm — roughly 80 times below. If your current supplier does not report Na₂O, ask why.
