Fused silica is produced by melting high-purity silica and then cooling, crushing, grinding and classifying it into different particle sizes. Compared with crystalline quartz, fused silica is an amorphous silica material with low thermal expansion, good thermal shock resistance, high chemical stability and reliable electrical insulation properties.
